 We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated finance professional to join our Finance and Pricing team, where you will support TLC business and its subsidiaries through provision of both financial and management accounting; financial planning, evaluation, business insight, and financial services. 

This is a pivotal role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives, protecting and maximising shareholder value. You will provide financial information and analysis; insights and commercial advice to the business units; provide support on operating and capital expenditure work programs; team budgets as well as providing financial support for business case.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Preferably Chartered Accountant or equivalent
  • Experience in a business partner role
  • 3+ years experience in management accounting role or similar
  • Knowledge and experience of management and financial accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in providing advice on business management and commercial issues
  • Business and financial reporting experience
  • Large financial information systems experience
  • Experience in costing and business case analysis
  • Utilities or industry experience ideally
  • The ability to demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to problem solving, good judgement and a proactive, positive “can do” attitude.
  • The ability to create and maintain credible relationships with ease;
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to accurately and clearly convey complex information in a meaningful way 
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and motivate self to meet deadlines
