Fire Alarm Technician

The Role
In this role you will install fire alarms in both commercial and residential buildings. Ensuring that the highest standards of professionalism are maintained and delivering a high level of service to our customers on all installation related matters is a key requirement.
On a day to day basis, you will also assist with fire alarm system defects, faults and repairs and fix those as required. The hours of work are 7.00am – 4.30pm, 5 days a week (45 hour week).
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be a motivated team player with an excellent work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail;
- Be able to understand technical drawings and have a basic understanding of mathematical concepts;
- Have experience in installing fire alarm systems and/or sprinkler systems;
- Have a strong health and safety focus and take pride in doing a really good job every time;
- Additionally, you will possess a full driver’s licence and the right to live and work in New Zealand.
