 The Network Team is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the network. Our focus is to ensure the network meets our customers’ needs on a day to day basis and is operated, maintained and upgraded in a sustainable manner. 

The Role

Reporting to the Manager of Project Delivery, we are now looking for a dynamic, highly organised person to join our project team. On a daily basis you will provide administrative support associated with project management, ensuring these tasks are carried out in accordance with Contractual Obligations and The Lines Company’s Policies and Procedures. 

You will work closely with Project Managers to ensure that all budgeting, invoicing, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to communicate and provide accurate feedback regarding the progress of projects to the Project Delivery Teams. 

The Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role 
  • An understanding of Project Administration 
  • Proficient Word, Excel and Microsoft Project experience
  • Strong organisation and self-management skills 
  • Good understanding of business and commercial issues
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and written/oral communication skills
  • Understanding of project management processes
  • Ability to compile reports and draft letters with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and quality of work
  • Assertiveness and ability to work independently and under pressure
  • An uncompromising approach to health & safety and ability to drive H&S excellence through a controlled network environment for all work carried out on or supporting the network
