The Network Team is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the network. Our focus is to ensure the network meets our customers’ needs on a day to day basis and is operated, maintained and upgraded in a sustainable manner. 

The role  

This entry level Project Manager role is responsible for managing projects to meet customer requirements, ensuring project completion is within approved budgets and agreed deadlines; is focused on safety; technical quality risk and environmental policies and procedures. 

You will put the customer at the centre of everything you do, working collaboratively with the wider Network Team to ensure successful planning and scoping specifications are developed and delivered. 

The Requirements

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Be and experienced Registered Electrician/Technician or have a graduate degree/diploma related to the Electricity industry
  • Electrical Industry experience of at least 5 years
  • Experience in managing projects
  • Experience in project administration - preferable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to foster excellent customer and colleague relationships
  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate and engage with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational and written/oral communication skills 
  • An uncompromising approach to health and safety
